Project Overview
 Phase II of the North Broadway project extends from 4th Avenue near the viaduct to University Avenue, and is scheduled to be completed in late October 2008. Traffic control for the project will begin just south of the viaduct and will extend to 10th Avenue.

July3-7 North Broadway Update
 Update for July 3 - Concrete paving will begin tomorrow morning on the west side of North Broadway starting at Fourth Avenue and continuing through the intersection of Fifth Avenue.
- Paving is scheduled to begin around 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed by mid-afternoon.
- North-bound traffic on Broadway will remain the same; south-bound traffic will be re- directed at times, while concrete operations are underway.
- The south-bound route extends along the west side of Broadway. Travelers will take University Avenue west to Sixth/Eighth Street south and then to Fourth Avenue east.
- The public is encouraged to use extra caution during this intense activity timeframe.
- No additional work is scheduled for the holiday weekend.
Update for July 4-7
- Construction crews prepared and paved the roadway on the west side of Broadway from Fourth Avenue through the intersection of Fifth Avenue.
- Traffic flow on Fourth Avenue, on the west side of Broadway continues to flow in the south lanes with both east and west-bound traffic head-to-head.
- The new alignment on Fifth and Sixth Avenue west of Broadway is in place with a temporary roadway.
- Broadway remains open with business access marked by blue informational signs.
- Left-hand turns are still not allowed for north- or south-bound traffic at the intersection of Broadway and University Avenue.
